TECH After Hours

Keeping our kids challenged outside of school...

Working through the various non-profit organizations, or the After School Daycare Programs at local elementary schools, we offer after-school & summer computer courses for elementary & middle school students and adults.  Using the software available at the school site, we enhance and enrich the technology interest and safety of children.

*We recognize the sensitivity of your IT department and the importance of network safety.  We commit to leave the computers as we have found them... no files, directories or graphics will be left behind and no software will be installed!

Have fun exploring the software programs that are foundational to productive (and fun!) computer use. Students will come away with a wide variety of intermediate/advanced skills using the Microsoft Office suite of applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Paint and Movie Maker. They will create a unique & artistic masterpiece, gather and graph information, learn the hyperlinking concepts of website design, create their own mini-movie using pictures, video and music and finally, they will create animated stories using the basics of Flash. It’s a fast paced environment, designed to give a taste of what the computer can do!
