Qualifications...
Since Tech Teachers
understands that life's experience can be just as important as a
Bachelors degree, initials behind your name are not required.
However, teaching/presentation experience, technical expertise and
proven ability in mastering your chosen software program ARE required.
To qualify, you may also have:
The desire
to develop the ability to assess an individual computer system, listen
to the client, and develop a lesson plan on-the-fly. (It takes
practice... you just need the desire to learn!)
The ability to prep
for new courses quickly and thoroughly.
A high level of
motivation and enthusiasm.
Excellent
communication, presentation and people skills.
Strong
customer-service orientation
Must be able to
present in a clear, understandable and engaging way to both novice and
advanced audiences.
Hands-on, real
world experience in the technologies you teach.
A minimum of 1-2
consecutive years instructing in a classroom or training center
environment is desired.
Experience
delivering training to corporate level staff, IT professionals or
computer novices is desired.
